  It’s a decent Chinese restaurant. I would say the it’s one of the good ones in South Yarra and Prahran area. I have been there twice and I am quite happy with the food and service. My favourite dishes are Peking duck and Xiao Long Bao.

  It was nice... but not amazing. Din tai fung in Sydney does far better dumplings.

  The portion is quite small so you can order more from the menu and share with friends/ family.

  Amazing food and fantastic service at Hu Tong. Our waiter was kind and funny, and he really made the experience fun. Our dumplings were incredible and so was our Peking duck, which were served in pancakes. You can wrap your own duck if you choose, but we didn't want to risk it! I will next time, though! Well worth a visit.

  Hu Tong was recommended by a friend and certainly met high expectations. Xiao long bao was a highlight and I can recommend the fried rices. Service and atmosphere were also very good but bear in mind that this place isn't cheap if you're after a sizeable meal. We ended up paying over $100 between 2, although this did get us about dishes.
